Learning, sharing and giving are gifts
We are so blessed that Jude and I are part of the PCDA family. Learning, sharing and giving are the gifts we received. Joy, laughter and beautiful memories will always be remembered.
More power and more years to come. God bless us!

We help each other; we build each up
A FAMILY comprises people that share the same family name, some traits and some looks. Although each person is different from one another in so many terms, being in one family is an assurance that: we share in each other's victories and triumphs; we cry in each other's agony; we help each other; we build each up. Such is the Philippine Choral Directors Association which celebrates its 9th glorious year today. Happy anniversary, my PCDA Family!
The entire organization runs on volunteerism
I can't believe it's been nine years since we moved to have an active choral conductors' association! Congratulations everyone, for keeping our organization alive through all these years. Thank you for all your hard work, for contributing your knowledge, time, efforts and resources into making PCDA the most active choir organization on our side of the world!
The PCDA constantly needs volunteers to support its goal of uplifting the standard of choral conducting and choral singing in the country. The entire organization runs on volunteerism, from the board to the members. I am encouraging everyone to contribute to the development of PCDA by volunteering for its myriad projects and functions. We in the board will work tirelessly toward fulfilling our mission and vision.
I sincerely hope we will see more volunteers and active members in the future. Maraming salamat po, at Mabuhay tayong lahat! Mabuhay ang sining pangkoro!
Music gains the power to change
Today marks the beginning of true HARMONY for me. We used to be like one big choir composed of soloists trying to outdo one another. PCDA is like the conductor who urged us soloists to get to know one another, who fostered friendship among us, who made us see each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and who bound us together to appreciate these strengths and help one another remove the weaknesses.
Today we are that big choir whose voices now blend together. Our music gains the POWER to change people’s lives for the better. This was evident for me in the way we united to make benefit concerts for Yolanda victims nationwide.
Happy Anniversary to us! Let’s continue making this world a better place to live in.

Music, character, humility, and integrity
Happy 9th Anniversary, Philippine Choral Directors Association!
When I returned from the US last year, I was blessed by how PCDA welcomed me to the family with open arms! Thank you for your spirit of collaboration that you continue to share to one another. As we move on to the next years of PCDA, let us strive to be known not only for our
music, but most of all, for our character, humility, and integrity.
Unity is the best indication of harmony
Unity is the best indication of harmony. Seeing choirs uniting together to help the recent victims of Yolanda through the recent benevolent concert “TABANG” at the Union Church of Manila is a sign that our voices can do more than just singing. May our voices continue to touch lives. MABUHAY, PCDA!!!
